Sylvantide Mutual Aid currently operates a Freedge (community refrigerator) and Little Free Pantry, both located behind Bennett's Books at 171 Main Street in Deep River and are accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Take what you need, leave what you can.

- Mary HCollin has created a place where everyone can feel welcome regardless of their circumstance. Everyone is treated with dignity and respect. People down on their luck are able to get the help they need and deserve, and are then invited to pay it forward when they’re able. The community refrigerator has been a godsend for some families in town, and the fact that it is always stocked shoes just how much the community cares. I hope this organization continues to grow and sticks around for a long time.
